COMRADE ROD VATOUR

Comrade Rod joined the RCAF in 1952 and took Basic training in St.Jean,Que. He completed his trade training in Camp Borden and graduated as E tech A. He served with 444 Sqn. From St.Hubert to Germany. He also served with 436 sqn. In Downsview, Ont. During his tour with 436, Rod served with the UN ferring troops to Abu Sewar and he was later transfeered to Egypt. Next to Cold lake and a wedding to Marie which resulted in four lovely daughters. The last move was to Greenwood and retirement in 1980. Comrade Rod’s service and devotion to the betterment of Branch 98 are appreciated by all. Branch 98 is pleased to present Comrade Rod Vatour as “VETERAN OF THE MONTH” May /07
