COMRADE RAYMOND OLIVER

In 1942 Comrade Raymond enlisted in the Army at No 6 District Depot in Halifax and became part of the Anti-Tank Regt. During the 2^nd WW he served throughout Europe. Comrade Oliver worked at several jobs including Steam Plant / Boiler Engineer to Truck Driver. He retired in 1985 and moved to Port George and retired. He has been a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 59 in Ontario. Branch 98 Kingston Legion is proud to present Comrade Oliver as “VETERAN OF THE MONTH” May /2006.
