COMRADE MELVIN E. MARTIN

Melvin Ernest Martin joined the RCAF June 1955 as a Ftrcop. After a course in Clinton, Ont. he was posted to Lac ST Denis and was married in 1958. Gander Nfld 1961 to 1963 then off to Sydney, N.S. until 1964.He remustered to Vehicle Tech and was later posted to Greenwood,N.S. in 1966 and was later sent to 3 Wing Germany until 1969. Melvin had various postings after his tour in Europe including Borden, Cornwallis. Shilo, Chatam. WO Martin retired in Kingston,N.S. in 1986 with 31 yrs. of dedicated service.
