COMRADE JEAN A. MARTEL

Comrade Martel, a product of Quebec City joined the R.C.N. and served on Arran, Chaudiere and Gatineau as an electrician. In 1965 he transferred to Shearwater as an Electrician Air Tech and served with HS 50, VS 880 and many other ships including the Bonnaventure, Fraser and Annapolis. In 1978 was transferred to 1CAG Baden, returning to Canada in 1982 and retired in 1983. In 1985 Jean joined the RCMP and served 12 years. Comrade Martel is an active member of Br. 98 and very active with the Branch Color Party. Kingston Legion Br.98 is proud to present Comrade Martel as “VETERAN OF THE MONTH”Feb.2007
