COMRADE LEO  P.  MYERS

 

 

Comrade Leo, originally from Eastern Passage, joined the RCAF in 1953 as an Airframe Technician and completed basic training in St.Jean, Que. He completed trades training at Camp Borden and served at various bases including Chatham and 2 Wing Grostinquin, France.  As a Tech Crewman with 101 Com Flight in Shearwater, he flew over 900 hours on C47 Dakota’s. Comrade Leo also did tours at CFB Summerside and CFB Cold Lake. He then transferred to CFB Greenwood in 1976 and retired in 1986. Leo and Vivian reside in Greenwood and are proud parents of three children and grandparents of five. Comrade Leo has been a member of Kingston Legion Br.98 for the past 23 yrs. Kingston Legion is proud to present Comrade Myers as “VETERAN OF THE MONTH”,March 2009
