Comrade Chris Minkoff

Comrade Chris joined the Royal Canadian Navy as a Stoker 2nd class May 1948. On completion of his new entry training at HMCS Naden he served onboard the HMCS  Iroquois during the Korean War. He also served on the HMCS Nootka, Magnificent, Quebec, New Liskeard, Buckingham, Algonquin, Gatineau, Qu’Appelle,  Asinibaine, Terra Nova and HMCS Ottawa. He retried from the Navy in May 1973 and joined the Royal Canadian Legion  Br 98 in 1989. After retiring from the Navy he went to work for  Minoqur Consultants on Multi-Ship Refits at Canadian Vickers, Montreal. Comrade Christopher and his wife Margnesite now live in Wilmot N.S.  Kingston Legion Br.98 is proud to present Comrade Minkoff as
