Comrade Denis
Theriault, originally from Digby
County, joined the
R.C.A.F. in 1958. After completing basic training in St Jean, P.Q.,
he was posted to Summerside, P.E.I. As
an Air Frame Tech, Comrade Theriault worked on various aircraft which included
the Lancaster, Neptune, Argus and Dakota.
In 1965 he was transferred to Greenwood
and eventually to Shearwater. Comrade
Theriault retired in Wilmot with his wife Leande. For the last 21 years, he is
most recognized for volunteering to drive the Pharmasave Shuttle Bus. For this dedication, Comrade Theriault
received a 15 yr. pin from the V.G. for his tireless efforts and
