COMRADE AL PETERSON

Comrade Peterson joined the RCAF in December of 1961 as an Instrument Electronics Technician and continued to proudly serve the Canadian Forces for the next 28 yrs. After completing basic training in St Jean, he completed his trades training at Clinton and Borden. Comrade Al had several postings throughout his career, which included Downsview, Ottawa, Zweibrucken Germany, North Bay, Comox, and Cold Lake. Comrade Peterson left the regular force in 1989 but continued to serve in the reserves with 413 Sqn until 1994. After several years as a bartender with the Kingston Legion, Comrade Peterson is currently employed as the Kingston Legion Bar Services Officer. Kingston Legion Branch 98 is proud and honored to present Comrade Peterson as the “VETERAN OF THE MONTH” for April 2008.
