Comrade Bernard (Pat) Patterson

 

        


Comrade Patterson served in the Canadian Forces with the Royal Canadian Navy.  With tours on the Kootenay, Athabaskan, Nipigon, and Terra Nova, Comrade Patterson was deployed on several Nato Deployments from both the east and west coasts.  He was also an instructor at the Fleet Engineering School and was later posted to the Ship Repair Unit.  Comrade Patterson also held the position of CERA at the Fleet Diving Unit.  In  1997 he retired from the Canadian Forces with 32 years of distinguishable service at the rank of CPO  2nd Class.  He is married to Elaine Patterson and they have two children, Heather and Chris.   A Branch member for the last eight years, Branch 98 is proud to present Comrade Bernard “Pat” Patterson as Veteran of the Month for March 2006.
