BLOOM, Terrance Beverly "Terry", MWO (Ret'd) - 70,
Wilmot, passed away September 7, 2006, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born
in Haliburton, Ont., he was a son of the late Maxwell and Evva (Henderson)
Bloom. Terry enlisted in the RCAF in 1955 and hence began his military career.
In 1985 he was promoted to MWO. He finished his military career in 1988 while
in Ottawa and with his wife, Madalyn, retired in the Annapolis Valley. Terry
became a very active member of Branch No. 98 Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston,
and was serving as President of the branch at the time of his death. He was a
person who would go out of his way to help others. He particularly enjoyed
working at the 14 Wing wood hobby shop and fishing. Surviving are his wife, the
former Madalyn Parsons, and their daughter, Trista, Halifax, and from a former
marriage, children, Kevin and Kimberly, both of Calgary; Laurie (Doug) Alldred,
Toronto; Steven, Orillia, Ont.; Timothy, Calgary; brothers, Ronald (Alice
Chandler), Charlottetown; Stewart (Ellie), Orillia, Ont.; grandchildren, Doug,
Shane, Morgan and Clayton. He was predeceased by sister, Brenda. A memorial
service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 10, in Middleton Funeral Home,
(902) 825-3448, conducted by Branch No. 98 Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston. By
