COMRADE BARBARA HELEN BAKER

71, of Kingston , passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital , Middleton. Born in Winnipeg , Man. , she was a daughter of the late Frederick Roy and Emily Florence ( Berry ) Hunt. Barbara was an associate member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98, Kingston . She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Tom) MacDougall, West Porters Lake ; sister, Gladys (Frank) Wheeler, Winnipeg , Man. ; grandchildren, Robert (Kari) MacDougall, Fredericton , N.B.; John MacDougall, Halifax; friend and former husband, Robert Baker and many great nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by son, Donald Alan; brothers, Fred and Maurice. Cremation has taken place. A legion tribute will be held 2 p.m. today in Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98, Kingston .
