Treasurer Duties

1. The Branch Treasurer should assist in the preparation of a budget and should act in an advisory capacity to the Executive Committee on all financial matters. 2. It is the Treasurer's responsibility to give an accurate account of all monies received or paid out, to the Executive Committee. 3. He/she must ensure that all funds in the name of the Branch, are deposited. 4. He/she must ensure all cheques issued by the Branch are properly completed. No cheques shall be signed blank, and that all are signed by two (2) authorized signatures. 5. The Branch Treasurer should make a financial quarterly report to help the Executive to better understand Branch finances. 6. He/she shall act as Chairman of the Finance Committee.
