President Duties

1. In most circumstances, the President of the Branch becomes the immediate Past President upon the election of a successor. 2. The immediate Past President is, by virtue of the Office, a member of the Executive Committee and has the same powers as other members. The reason for this automatic appointment is to help maintain continuity of administration and policy. 3. The President should ask the Past President for advice when appropriate. The Branch should make use of the Past President's experience and knowledge. 4. The Past President should oversee the following Special Committees: a) Bursaries
